I have a thing for combining cute and creepy. Hence these lovely hair stakes that feature Bats and Sakura blossoms. Honestly I really love bats, they are cute and in the South where I live a marvel at getting rid of the dreaded misquote. However they have a bad rap so combined them with the lovely cheery blossom.
The Total Length around 14 3/4" long (length of sticks and tassel)
The stick is 9" long enameled Black bamboo and have Sakura Blossoms printed on the top
The Tassel is ~ 5.7" and is comprised of 12 beads, 4 handmade charms, 2 Large blade shaped filigree links into small round links, ending in 2 pink enameled 10mm Sakura blossoms
Charms- are made from Thermoplastic and are Moroccan window cut out shaped:
I over engineer theses stakes so they don't catch in your hair. What that means in detail is I counter sink the eyelet into the stick so there is no gap for your hair to get caught, for added security I E6000 the eyelet into place. The Bobble and Stick are connected with a split-ring; basically a miniature key-ring, once again so there is no were for your hair to get caught. And I wire wrap the beads and charms together. All this means that your hair should not get caught in the charms. It also means that it is very securely put together.
