KITSUNE (Fox) Mask Earrings
KITSUNE Mask earrings, or Fox Mask Earrings. Kitzune means Fox. In Japan there are many kinds of fox masks. People believe the fox is a messenger of God who bring rich harvest, so it is a symbol of wealth... OK enough of the history lesson. I made them because I love the simple design and I'm rather fond of foxes. Not a very deep reason I know, but they are very cool.
These supper light weight earrings are 2 1/4 inches long and 1/2 inch wide
At the top is a mat-Black 8mm faceted round glass bead
The charm is in a Moroccan Window shape (I use my CAD system to cut it out) and I hand drew each picture. Because I hand draw these pictuers and they are very small a few minor details have been deleted.
The charm is 7/8 inch tall by 1/2 inch wide and about 2mm thick
They hang from surgical stainless steel french hooks
