Fandom Gothic Crazy Awesome Hair Stakes
These hair stakes went a little, gothic, a little creepy, and a whole lot of fangirl. With cat's, Moons, Googly Eyes, a bit of Tim Burton, a touch of Terry Pratchett, and a hint of of the Mouse. Enjoy the creepy all year long with these fun and silly hair stakes.
The Total Length is 16 1/8" long (length of sticks and tassel)
The stick is 9" long Stained Black red wood
The Tassel is ~ 7.5" and is comprised of 5 beads, 2 charms, 2 pewter links (one knotwork and the other a cat), and a Googly Eye ring 40x35x16mm (like the kind kids wear)
Beads- Starting from the top 15x4mm acrylic coin half Crystal the other half a transparent Gray, 6mm transparent Gray glass bi-cone, 7x3mm Jet glass faceted cone, 9mm Jet acrylic moon, 8mm faceted round glass Hematite, and a 10mm glass frosted Crystal with an inner line of AB giving it a fun Aurora Borealis effect.
Charms- are made from Thermoplastic and are Moroccan window cut out shaped: One tassel has a grinning skeletal face and Crystal Ball with a lady's head inside. The other tassel has striped sand worm and a grim reaper.
I over engineer theses stakes so they don't catch in your hair. What that means in detail is I counter sink the eyelet into the stick so there is no gap for your hair to get caught, for added security I E6000 the eyelet into place. The Bobble and Stick are connected with a split-ring; basically a miniature key-ring, once again so there is no were for your hair to get caught. And I wire wrap the beads and charms together. All this means that your hair should not get caught in the charms. It also means that it is very securely put together.
