You know and love my wonderful Cousin Tig (cousin in the Southern since of the word). Now you get to plum the depths of her mind with some truly hard hitting questions. Oh by the way if you are reading this Monday morning just after this post goes live, Tig and I will be on the road coming back from Orlando, FL.

So let's start the fun and games.
1) What is your Favorite Color?
Purple, though only because leopard print doesn't count as a color.
2) Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
Closed, gotta keep the monsters in.
3) When you make a PB&J sandwich which do you put on first the peanut-butter or jelly?
Peanut butter, and I build a little wall in the peanut butter to make sure that the jelly doesn't leak out when you bite into it.
4) Do you watch cartoons or Anime? And if so which ones?
...It's like you don't know me or something. Yes, I watch both. I am a HUGE fan of Archer and I am also really into Ouran High School Host Club, Soul Eater, and Black Butler just to name a few animes.
5) When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper?
Does writing to our customers count? If it does, then last week. If it doesn't....Um....About 16 years ago? I am a child of the internet after all.
6) What is your Chinese astrological sign?
Depends on if you are going by Chinese years or American years. Chinese years I am a Dragon, but American makes me a Snake. Yes this actually matters as I am a January birthday and the Chinese New Year isn't until February.
7) Ever have a Deja-vu feeling? If so Please share.
When don't I have a feeling of deja vu? Probably the weirdest was when I realized I had a dream about a place and specific situation I was in and had the dream at least ten years prior to the event actually happening. Deja vu is almost a daily occurrence with me. They really need to fix the glitches in the matrix.
8) Can you curl your tongue?
Yup, I can even make it into a clover shape.
9) Why do Aliens abduct Humans if we are an inferior race?
To try and understand why we are so freaking stupid.
10) Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?
Because Disney animators are equal opportunists and Tarzan doesn't have a beard for the same reason that all their princesses are skinny. Unreasonable beauty standards for men happen too.
Wow! Okay we now know so much more about the Awesome and Fabulous Tig. Hope you enjoyed reading this interview as much as we had doing it.

It's that time again and boy have we been busy! I'm getting ready to have my last show up here in the North East this weekend at the 9th Street Italian Market Festival here in Philadelphia. Meanwhile Amy will be at Tidewater Comic Con in Artist Alley at booth #A213. As if THAT wasn't enough, Chance is also going to be at XCON in Myrtle Beach at Artist Alley booth #A13! After that, Amy and I will BOTH be going down and seeing all of your lovely faces at MegaCon! I'll update with a booth number and floor map as soon as I can.
In the mean time, you might have seen this on Instagram, but I am still giggling over it so I'm going to share it here too. A long time ago for some school art project, I remember we had a sculpture project due and we had to do some sort of mash up. I don't remember the exact details, but I do know what I made was INCREDIBLY punny. I mean, it's BAD, and this is ME saying that.

Do you get it? It's a HOLY MACKERAL! Ha!
Anyway, that's it for now. Hope to see you soon!

"Otaku"
Otaku is Japanese for Nerd. In Japanese culture it has the same (or very similar) connotations that nerd did here 40 years ago. However since we have embraced our nerd power it is used to describe someone that is an Anime and/or Manga nerd. A title we are PROUD of and wave our nerd flag high.

So in honer of all my fellow Otaku's I have made these fun earrings so you can in turn shaire your proud status as an Otaku with the world.

As many of you know, yesterday was May the Fourth, often celebrated as International Star Wars day. However, as many of you who know me, I like evil (it's more fashionable than Gucci), so I prefer to celebrate Revenge of the 5th instead of Cinco dey Mayo. No offense to the victory won by the Mexican army against the French, but I do not appreciate the American frat boy-ized holiday that it's become here.

Though as any proper nerd girl, I did make sure to show some Star Wars pride yesterday as well.

Seriously though, Leia Organa Skywalker is so much more than just a mere princess. She was a senator in A New Hope and has been a General in the Rebellion and the New Republic since Empire Strikes Back. Also, she stopped being a princess after her planet was destroyed (you know, since she lost her whole kingdom), so seriously, don't call her a princess. And I'll get off my soap box and nerd rage.
Anyway, however you chose to celebrate, I hope you have a fantastic day and an even better weekend! If you're in New Jersey, don't forget that you can find me at Anime Fan Fest this weekend!
Til next time!

You Are So Baka!
Sometimes I really want to call someone Stupid, but that tends to lead to a whole kettle of trouble. So I like to switch it up and use a different language, that way the person will not know what I am calling them and I can sit there in my smugness and be smug, because yes I do suffer from smugness from time to time. If you are like me then these earrings are for you. You will not even have to waist your breath to tell everyone know what you think of them without them knowing what you mean.

As you can see I have the word Baka written first in Kanja then in romanization of Japanese. I thought about translating it, but that would take all the fun out of it for me so I did not.
Hope you enjoy these earrings as much as I do. So don't be Baka and buy these earrings.

You can Now Find My Art On ZAZZLE!
"What is Zazzle?" you might ask. Well it is a online company that lest you put your own designs on hundreds of different items. Or you can choose from tens-of-thousands of designers and their personal art-work. There is so much that I would recommend using the search bar to narrow down the field.
(Note if you are looking for anime use a different search term like Manga, Oatku, or Senpie since it always changes anime to animal)
I have been having fun this week taking my personal art-work adjusting it on Photoshop and putting it up on the web for others to find. I will have more over time, but I have mostly started with art that I had already.

But mostly I am making Cell Phone Cases to match sets on Polyvore. In fact the whole reason I started my account on Zazzle was because I could not find a cell phone case to match a set I was trying to put together. I know silly reason, but hay never said I was totally serious... anyway.... There is actually a second reason I started this account. I had quite a few customers ask if they could get my twisted since of humor on things other than Jewelry. Now I can say Yes witch amuses me to no end.

Here is a little fun tidbit. The Fruits Basket Inspired "Year of the Cat" was the first fan art case I made and the one with green curtains was made for a "Gone With The Wind" set, but it was strongly influenced by Carol Burnett... don't judge that skit is a classic.
If you would like to see anything in particular just drop me a line. I am always willing to take request. Soon I will be adding things like my cat drinking wine, a Black Butler theme, and some of my more twisted themes like "Brown Chicken, Brown Cow".

So once again I got super distracted running some errands with my mom and totally forgot to write my blog post before Thursday ended. Whoops!
Anyway, things in Tig world have been awesome. I'm up here in Pennsylvania visiting my mom in between a few shows here in the North East. I just wrapped up John Hopkins Spring Festival last weekend and had an absolute BLAST. If any of you were there you got to see me and my friend Donna who was giving me a hand on Friday and Sunday. We both really enjoyed the event and I am really looking forward to hopefully doing it again next year.
This Saturday I'll be back in Maryland for CreatorCon in Silver Springs. It looks to be a fun, one day show focusing on all types of creators, from traditional art to video games and other digital media.
That's about it for this time, hope everyone has a great weekend!

Last week was crazy busy with getting Tig ready for 5 weeks up north for shows and having to get my taxes done. So I took this weekend off and did nothing but lay around on the couch and read... and clean and reorganize my office... and catch up on a months worth of laundry... and put together a couple of wholesale orders... oh and clean the gutters. It was really nice having a lazy and relaxing weekend, so I had a hard time getting motivated to do anything work related today hence the late blog post and just once awesome picture....

Hope you have a great Monday
