Wish Ball Earrings.

According to legend you only need 7 dragon eggs to get a wish.  Cool! I have no idea what I would wish for, but the power to destroy a mountain seams traditional.  These earrings will give you 6 out of the seven star/eggs you need so you will only have to find the last one. 

These earrings are inspired by the anime Dragon Ball Z. 

The Second picture is of Jasmin a wonderful cosplay model.  She is wearing the earrings as clip-on's,  if you need them turned into clip-on's just leave a note during check-out cause I understand the need to have fun earrings, but not be able to get pierced ears.   Oh and I will turn them into Clip-on's for free.

The Dalek earrings are a bit of a cheat since I deleted the old yellow ones and added the new smaller red ones, but it's a new page so I thought I should call them new.

It's Time to Re-Design

I have been busy re-designing a lot of the sold out favorite designs on my site.  Partly because I get board easily, partly because I just think it is way more fun to change things up regularly, and partly because I run out of beads all the time.  This week I have added back to the website 2 Funky Bracelets that have been out of stock for a while.  Both are now sporting a new look.  Check it out and let me know what you think.

A Hamilton inspired Funky Bracelet!

I made a few of these bracelets by special order and they went crazy fast so I thought I would add it to my website. 

The earrings I have several of, but I only had enough of the vintage German star beads to make 2 Funky Bracelets.   So if you like it then you better order it right away since I will have to completely redesign the bracelet once these 2 sell and who knows when I'll have the time.

What kind of Archeologist carries a gun?

Oh wait that would be most of them....  Never mind.

Okay so you all know that I am just a big old nerd and love to geek out with my jewelry on a very regular basis....  humm is it just me or did that last statement sound kind of wrong.  Oh well.

This week I am introducing a fun bracelet inspired by one of my all time favorite Sci-Fi shows, Stargate SG1.  This bracelet had been on my to make list for about forever, but I'm easily distracted and to be honest I was kind of stuck on what to do.  So Shanna from FL (one of my Awesome Customers) came to my rescue.  She was really wonderful and helped me brain storm ideas for charms and the colors needed for the bracelet.  There was a flurry of emails and some wonderful suggestions (2 of witch I just out right copied) and in the end I think we came up with a great bracelet. 

The bracelet has a charm for each of the main 4 characters and the symbol for Tara (earth).  The colors are to represent the great nothingness of space and the wormhole that cut through it, so blacks and gray for space and blue and white for the wormhole.  As many of you know I really do over think these things.

The charms are....

 - Jack O'Neill:  "For Crying out Loud" he said this in almost every episode

- Daniel Jackson: "Dr. Jackson he finds the book in a room full of jewels".  My favorite character and the hardiest one to choose a charm quote/theme for. 

- Samantha Carter:  "Keep Calm and Let Charter Figure It Out".  Really the I think that 50% of the episodes could have been named this, she was one smart and capable woman, and one of the reasons I think Sci-Fi has all the best female roles.

- Teal'c: The symbol of Apophis with the word "INDEED" under.  A man of few words and noble character.  I know I'm crazy, but I always wanted to go up to him and just give him a big hug.

Sorry I missed yesterday's blog post.  So for your enjoyment I present the elusive Friday post.

Today I was chatting with some customers, like I do.  We where joking around, and I told the guy that was in the booth that if he knocked over my tables that I would take pictures and post them on my blog.  Both he and his friend agreed that, that was a great idea.  

On his way out of the booth the kicked the table and knocked over the hair stake display (it was an accident).  So to be true to my word here are pictures of Kevin.

Kevin was a good sport about it all, and helped to clean up even though his friend and I razed him the whole time.  Good luck in the future Kevin and I hope to see you next year.

Well, actually belated birthday. I realized your birthday passed like two days after it happened. But since Amy and I know that you stalk our blog, this one is for you!

Next weekend we'll be back in Orlando, but instead of going for Disney or Universal, we'll be there for GeekyCon! After that, it's finally back home to NC!

So if you have been keeping up with the blog you know Tig and I are spending the month of July in Florida for work/shows.   However we have made sure to enjoy the sights as well.  Today we had fun at Disney with our friend Emily.    So withou further delay here is a photo dump of our fun filled day in the Magic Kingdom.

We got to meet Gaston and have a drink in his bar... Tig and I went all out and split a water.  Then we where total dorks and took turns sprawling in his seat.

Being that this is Florida in July we had to wait out a few rain storms.

Because of the rain the Main Street Parade was canceled,  but we where able to watch the Rainy Day Cavalcade 

 We are great at multitasking so there was some playing of Pokemon Go while on a ride.

Sence we are total adults there might have been a carousel ride.
